Student Book Grants and other help for local education.

Tyghe Educational Foundation

All young university (or equivalent) students are given an annual grant towards the cost of their studies for three years. The grant may be used for books or equipment needed for study towards a degree or vocational qualification - scissors for hairdressing or knives for a chef, for example.

In order to qualify, applicants should normally be aged 18-25 years, be studying for their first degree or college qualification, resident in Deeping St James (including Frognall).

In order to apply for the grant a PDF document can be downloaded and printed off (right click on download button and select “save as”), then please fill in and return to the Institute in person or by post.

If you are starting Higher Education this autumn, please apply for your grant as soon as your place has been awarded and you have the entry qualifications confirmed.
